First Sergeant Meredith J. Beach


Proud mother and grandmother. She is family oriented and beams with joy when she talks about her children, Markus and Malcolm, and grandchildren, Alanah and Marcus. She is a retired military veteran with over 27 years of service. She currently works for the Department of Defense and will celebrate 30 years of service in April, 2022.


She has served in ALL components of the United States Army, Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve. While on active duty, she served as a Combat Medic and served during the Persian Gulf War. She also served as the Dean of Instruction and led 30 plus instructors as they trained Soldiers at every level in the administrative career field. She was also the First Sergeant of the 90th Sustainment Battalion where she advocated and mentored a battalion of over 200 Soldiers.


First Sergeant Beach is an active member of the Order of Eastern Star and Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority Inc. She is a charter member of Little Rock Alpha Gamma Chapter of ΚΕΨ. She has served in several leadership positions in both organizations.


On an annual basis she volunteers with Central Arkansas Development Council and prepares free tax returns for the community during tax season. She is also a certified victim advocate and provides guidance to those who suffer from sexual assault. Because of her volunteer efforts, she was awarded “2019 Volunteer of the Year” for Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority Inc.


She is a faithful member of King Solomon Baptist Church. She loves to travel and spends her spare time reading and trying new recipes.


She believes that EVERYTHING happens for a reason and that “A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.”
